Meet Freddy

My youngest boy, Sebasti├ín has been waiting with baited breath and stifled giggles for this character’s profile to be added.

You may have noticed that I’m very artistically challenged and the original drawing of Freddy has always been the butt of jokes in our home! Yes, it’s true, I can’t even draw a football!

The character Freddy often gets out of The Garden Shed – the children love playing ball and he really enjoys being thrown about, whizzing through the air on the end of a kick and he especially loves the celebrations when he scores a goal!

There are times when he feels a little unwell and a bit deflated, but then is soon “nursed” back to health with a little air pumped into him!

His story takes a twist, however and the children “use” Freddy in quite a different way than you’d imagine – making him a VERY useful toy indeed.

I think you’ll agree that the illustrator did a much better job with Freddy’s portrait and I really hope you’ll all love him when his little story goes to print!
